Learning Management (LMS) Administrator



Galileo is looking for an organized, tech savvy collaborator to join our Training team to oversee our learning management system.

What’s the job, really?


We’re looking for an LMS Administrator who not only enjoys putting things in order, but also relishes managing details in support of the success of a team. Essential responsibilities: 

  • You’ll provide overall support, maintenance, and management of our Learning Management System (LMS). This includes being the internal expert on all LMS functions and features, managing the vendor relationship, creating and uploading custom training pathways and content, and holding staff accountable for training completion. 
  • You’ll act as the training team’s customer and tech support person. You’ll provide technical support to all LMS users, navigate obstacles related to maintaining the system, and troubleshoot user interface issues and glitches. 


  • You’ll review and revise eLearning content and be the final reviewer and editor before content is shared with its audience. 


  • You’ll provide project management or process support for projects across teams. This includes working with teammates to define and strategize about user roles, pathways and curriculum organization, partnering with the People Operations team on training hours and payment, and running reports for leaders throughout the organization.

What are we looking for?


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Skilled at providing technical support, and communicating technical information to non-technical end-users
  • Service-minded with a passion for helping others
  • Collaborative mindset and experience working well in teams, while also able to manage tasks autonomously
  • Flexible - able to adapt quickly to change
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail, data accuracy and project management skills
  • Skill at and experience with soliciting and implementing feedback to improve performance
  • Proficiency with virtual engagement tools, such as Zoom and the Google Suite; experience with software such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Creative Suite and Spoke LMS a plus
  • 1-2 years experience administering a learning/performance management system, such as Spoke, or experience in training development a plus
